The arctic temps that took over Fargo for the weekend did not slow down the racing action. Here are some quick cliff notes of the action.
Pro:
- Kamm is BACK - Wins Amsoil Dominator and Rd1
- Polaris appears to have tweaked a "turd" into a Rocketship
- Elias was worried about his knee/leg - He brushed it off and is on par for a 5x champion - Wins Rd2
- Cottew Motorsports came to play this year
- Adam Peterson was just So-So
- Dan Benham will be a contender when he finds consistency
- Healing prayers for Jacob Yurk (knee injury - out for season)
- Oskar Norum - Out for season (ankle injury)
- Welcome back AK128 with Green Mountain Racing - the flying Finn is 34 and still a threat
- Scheuring Speed Sports racers had a HARD weekend. Nothing went their way
- Francis had bad luck all weekend and may have a lingering pain/injury from a 1st turn pile up
- The PRO class needs racers... yesterday (PAGING KYLE PALLIN)
- Emil Harr has no fear. He's just going to send it.
Pro-Lite:
- Welcome to the Jordan Lebel show - Sweeps the weekend
- Bester is going to be a diesel this year - double podium (2nd)
- Heal up Nick Lorenz (broken hand)
- KC Motorsports (Evan squared) snags 2 podiums. This team will be in podium contention every round
- What happened to the Marcus Ogemar of last year?
- Rookie Kenny Mandryk filled in for OneThree Motorsports and scored (2) top 10 finishes on a sled he had never rode before
- Emeric Legendre of Thene Motorsports had a solid Pro Lite debut
- Belair Racing found the front of the pack with glimpses from Joonas Keskiaho
- Anson Scheele will be a podium threat at every round after the 1st round blues. Stamp it.
- Andy Pake was a STANDOUT all weekend long. He qualified for the dominator and finished 4th and 6th in Rd1 and Rd2 respectively
- Topi Posti of Green Mountain Racing had a sneaky solid weekend with a 7th and 11th place finishes
- The new Boss Racing/True North Motorsports team had sled issues all weekend. Look for them to round at Rd3
