# SNOCROSS Brings Triple Crown Format to ERX #2 - Rounds 11 & 12

The much anticipated Triple Crown format is going into effect this Friday and Saturday at ERX #2. 

 

What are your thoughts on the experiment?

 

I think this is going to be awesome for the series with the slimming PRO entries currently. Something for the fans to get excited about. It's not much fun watching only 4 or 5 sleds on track at a time. Now there will be 11 on the line each time and able to see the PRO's riding for longer 3 times a day.  

Here is a summary of the Pro Triple Crown format for Rounds 11 and 12.

> - - One Qualifying session (doubles as Practice)
>     - Three 8-minute plus one lap Rounds/Races.
>     - A tie-breaker will be determined by the best finish in Race 3.
> 
>  Maximum points is 45 (same as standard format). 
> 
> Here is the breakdown for each race. Best overall score determines O/A finish.
> 
> 1. 15 points
> 2. 12 points
> 3. 10 points
> 4. 9 points
> 5. 8 points
> 6. 7 points 
> 7. 6 points
> 8. 5 points
> 9. 4 points
> 10. 3 points
> 11. 2 points
> 12. 12th on down: 1 point
