Midwest Snocross Series Dominates Regional Racing - Hartford, WI
Midwest Snocross Series invaded Hartford, WI this past weekend with races hosted at the RK Compound. Owned by Ryan Kuhn, the track has become a staple in S.E. Wisconsin, as it is the only facility open to the public for Snocross training. With the addition of One Three Motorsports making it their home base for the season, with the likes of Kody Kamm and Nick Lorenz, the track has evolved into a premier facility for both practice and racing. The facility pumped massive money this off season to bring racers and fans one of the best experiences on snow. The RK Compound along with the help from Brunt workwear and EmperorOne CBD were able to put together a $5,000 to win Regional Dominator race that brought out a great crowd along with some elite snocross talent!
Adam Peterson - Saturday 5k Regional Dominator WINNER Presented by BRUNT Workwear and EmperorONE CBD
The event saw roughly 2,000 spectators come into the gates to enjoy bar to bar racing. When's the last time you heard of regional racing getting a couple thousand people to attend?? The MWSS crew does it race after race. The fans were able to see national level professional racers; Cole & Malene Cottew, Travis Kern, Adam Peterson and Andy Lieders along with many other top racers from around the USA and Canada. The MWSS has a massive, loyal, racer base that follows along the whole circuit. Along with the $5,000 dominator race and the added $2,000 to the PRO class purses, the series was able to attract RECORD entries both days. Saturday saw 194 entries (an all-time high for MWSS) and Sunday saw 173 entries. This series is growing at a rapid pace and it is safe to say that regional racing in the Midwest is alive and STRONG. If you are looking for a great place to race or looking to get involved with Snocross on a sponsorship level, the Midwest Snocross Series is a great place to look. The series venues have awarded OVER $20,000 so far this season to the MWSS racers. THANK YOU VENUES AND SPONSORS!

The racing was spicy on Saturday as all of the big dogs put on a show in their respected classes. Adam Peterson, Team LaVallee, was lights out all day, along with Kern and Cottew of Cottew Motorsports, with Lieders right in tow. Cael Firth (OneThree Motorsports) a sport rider, was hanging right there with them and put on a nose-diving whip show all day long. Malene Cottew was dicing it up with both the guys and gals. She swept the Brown Brothers Racing PRO Women’s class both days and took 2nd and 1st in the AP Performance Pro-Lite class Saturday and Sunday. Malene was on rails all weekend long, she even held her own in the Dominator race where she WON her first round over Devin Denman. Who wants to see her enter the Sport class at Nationals??? The PRO Plus 30 class saw privateer Scott Doll take an upset win over national podium contender, Adam S Johnson on the West Coast Customs Ski-Doo team. The 200cc and junior classes were fun to watch all weekend long with amazing heat race action and thriller finals! These racers are the heart and soul of the series. The future is bright for regional racing!!
