Midwest Snocross Series Recap - Rd 7&8 - Hartford, WI
Midwest Snocross returned to the RK compound in Hartford, WI for some great bar to bar racing action. This race saw One Three Motorsports team co-owner and "retired" PRO racer Lincoln Lemieux hit the race track for his first race of the season. Lincoln and fans were all smiles as they enjoyed amazing weather and a great race track all weekend long. The series saw another record of 370 race entries this weekend. Regional racing is STRONG
- One Three Motorsports swept Pro classes on the weekend with Cael Firth taking the wins in the AP Performance Pro-Lite class and Lincoln taking the Pro-Am class.
- Brian Petersen from the West Coast Customs Racing team found his way back to racing action after suffering a broken collarbone at the first round of Nationals in Fargo, ND. Brian would round out the podium (3rd) both days in Pro-Am and 2nd in Pro-Lite.
- Malene Cottew had a rare get-off and would sustain a broken tail bone, but would still finish the day out in the Brown Brothers Racing women's class taking the win. Malene will still be racing the next national as she chases another championship, but will sit out this weekends race in Valcourt, QC.
- Kendall Rose continues her Junior Women's dominance and also continues to battle and beat down on the boys in the Junior 10-13 class.
- The Kuhn brothers and cousins rack up more podiums and wins.
- Tyson Kielman keeps his undefeated streak alive in the Town & Country Lawn Service Transition combined 8-12 class
- Jackson Kafka gets a big win in the Kafka Granite 200 6-9 class
- Lincoln Skar sweeps the Champ 120 class here at MWSS.
The series heads to the Plymouth Snow Ranger Park in Plymouth, WI for rounds 9&10 this coming weekend Feb 11-12 for more racing action. This race will see over $7,000 up for grabs in the PRO classes. The venue features cheap concessions, a heated building and grandstands for viewing! Be sure to get signed up to race or come on out for some great racing!
